Instructions on How to attach various things to a Product in MyMedstudy
Once you have found the product to modify, click on it in th list. This brings you to the standard Product Editing screen. In the tabs, you will see several regions to modify, including Personal Trainer, Videos, Downloads, Books and Companion Products.
How to Add a New Download
Download Type: You have three options to select from - AWS S3, Edition Guard or Other.
AWS S3
To supply a download through AWS S3, you must contact the software team with the file in question and have them upload it to S3. They will then provide you the resulting Filename and S3 Bucket which you must enter. By default, downloads through S3 are protected, meaning in order for a user to access it, they must have access to the product or trial of the product, depending on the Provisioning type.
Edition Guard
To supply a secure download through Edition Guard, the file must first be uploaded to Edition Guard at http://www.editionguard.com. Once the file is uploaded, please make sure you copy the Resource ID for the file from Edition Guard. You can find it in edition guard at My Account >> My Ebooks.
Back in myMedStudy, paste the Resource Id into the External ID field.
After completing all the relevant fields, click on Create Download button. Once the file is created you can Remove/Edit/Test Download.
How to Add Email Template to a Online Product
Click on Personal Trainer tab to add personal trainer to the product. You can link a Personal Trainer and Medstudy conference to a product.
How to Add Video to a Product
Click on the Expand icon to check the list of all available videos. They are categorized by type and year.
Click on the Add symbol displayed beside each topic to Add the videos to the product.
Once you are done adding the Videos, click on the Save button.
Once the videos are on the right size under "Videos in Use", you can rearrange the videos via Drag & Drop actions. The order of the videos here is exactly how they will show up in the Video Product to the customer.
Once you login to my.medstudy.com, click on Admin and select the
Products Tab. In this page, you can view/edit existing products or add a
new product.

Once a product is created, you can attach Videos, Downloads, Companion Products and Kitaboo Books to that product. In order to attach these things to a product, you can search for the product in the Search
input on the upper right hand side using either the SKU or the product name. You may also use the "Filter by Type" dropdown to narrow your options.

How to Add a New Download
Click on Downloads tab to add a new Download file.
Select SKU: You can select either All skus or select a specific Sku from the dropdown list.
Select Provision Type(Optional): In here, there are 4 options:
- Trial Only - This download will be made accessible to the user only if he / she is starting the product in a Free Trial mode.
- Purchase Only - This download will be made accessible to the user only if he / she has paid for the product and has full use of the product.
- Purchase and Trial - This download will be made accessible to the user regardless of the use type, trial or a full purchase.
- None. - The download will not be made available to anyone who purchases or tries the product. This is useful for setting up a download before it is ready for production release. Later, the "Bulk Provision Downloads" will be required to provision this to anyone who purchased the product prior to the download being accessible.
The Display label is displayed to the customer when he is trying to download from MyMedstudy website.
The Filename should be equivalent to the file that has been uploaded to the appropriate service. In some cases, like for AWS S3 files, it is crucially important that the file name here matches the filename uploaded to S3. The Software team can confirm this for you.
The Custom Download Name should be a unique, relatively short, easy to remember string of characters with no spaces. This will be used to create the browser URL of the download file. Note, this must be unique. For instance, if the file was the 2015 Pediatrics Cardiology Core, the Custom Download Name might be "2015_peds_cardiology_core".

NOTE: The Filename should be copied exactly from Amazon S3, as will be provided to you by the software team.

Other
Using this option, you can link to any file with a public URL. This can be hosted anywhere, but if it is hosted at AWS S3, it must be in a publicly accessible (and not protected) bucket.
The URL for the file should be entered in the Source download URL.
After completing all the relevant fields, click on Create Download button. Once the file is created you can Remove/Edit/Test Download.
How to Add Email Template to a Online Product
Click on Email Template tab to add Email templates to the product. You will see a list of Email types and a drop-down menu for each of them. For all the Email types, the default email template is selected and sent out to the users. By selecting a specific template, it will override the default template and send the selected template.
- Provision Product New - This Email is sent when a user is provisioned a product.
- Provision New after Trial - This Email is sent when user is provisioned a product after the trial.
- Product Extension - This Email is sent when a product is renewed by the user.
- Provision Trial - This Email is sent when a user activates the trial version of a product.
How to Add Email Template to a Online Product
For offline products, only if there is an email template associated with the product then only it will be send unlike online products.
How to Add Personal Trainer to a ProductFor offline products, only if there is an email template associated with the product then only it will be send unlike online products.
- If there is a email template specifically linked to the product then the template will be sent whether the product has downloads or not.
- If there is no email template specifically linked to the product and the product has no downloads then no email will be sent out to the user.
- If there is no email template specifically linked to the product and the product has Downloads then the standard "Offline product with downloads" template will be sent.
Click on Personal Trainer tab to add personal trainer to the product. You can link a Personal Trainer and Medstudy conference to a product.
- Link Exam Info to Product - Select a Exam listed in the drop-down menu. User will be signed up for the Personal Trainer program associated with this exam.
- Link Conference to Product - Select a Conference listed in the dropdown menu. Make sure the conference start date is within the 45 days or else the Personal Trainer would not be created for the user.
- Personal Trainer Provision Type - It can be either 1-click signup or Auto-provision. If you select Offer 1-click signup via email, it will automatically create the Personal trainer and send them the link for it via email. Once the user clicks on that link, it will sign them up for Personal Trainer. If you select Auto-provision upon purchase, user will be provisioned by the Personal trainer automatically once he purchases the product.
How to Add Video to a Product
Click on Video tab to add Video to the product. You will see Available Videos on the left side and when you add video files which you want to be included, you will see them under Videos in use. To setup new and edit existing videos, please go to "myMedStudy > Admin > More > Videos."

Unlike downloads, as soon as a Video is added to a product, anyone with access to the product will have immediately access to the Video. There is no "bulk provisioning" required.

Books, as they relate to a product in myMedStudy, are currently only online books through Kitaboo. These books are setup separately under "myMedstudy > Admin > More > Books."
You can add Books to a product only if the product type is Online book. Click on the Books tab to add a book to the product. On the left side you will see list of all available books. Click on the Add icon which is displayed beside the book title, to attach that Book to the product. Once you are done adding the books, click on the Save button. Unlike downloads, as soon as a book is attached to a product, anyone who has access to that product will immediately have access to the book via Kitaboo.

How to Add Companion Products to a Product
We have the ability to links another product to this one, so that when this product is purchased, any additional "companion products" get provisioned and made accessible to the user as well. The second product appears to the end user as if he purchased it, but the Purchase History will note that the item was provisioned as a Companion. You can link the product via the "Companion Products" tab, then clicking Add Companion Product.
Source SKU: You can select either All Skus or particular SKU to which you want the product to be linked. If you select All Skus, then whenever someone purchases any sku of this product, the companion will be provisioned. When choosing All Sku's, be sure that you have inspected the SKU's attached to the product and you are confident that whenever any of them are purchased, the companion product should be provisioned. Occasionally there are not-for-sale SKU's added to a product for special use-cases, for which we don't want a companion product provisioned.
Provision Type: In here, there are 4 options:

Companion Product: You need to select one product from the list of all the products displayed here to be the Companion product. Note that only active online products and online books are listed.
Once you select all the fields, the companion product will be saved automatically. You can add multiple companion products using the Add Companion Product button. Once you have finished adding the companion products, click on Save and Close button.
How to Add More Info to a product
Click on More Info tab to add Disclosure and More Info for the product.
- More Info - Specify the content for More info in this field. It should contain the disclosures section, it does not need to be updated twice but can be done by including the token {PRODUCT_DISCLOSURES} inside the More Info content.
- Disclosure - Specify the content for Disclosure in this field. It should contain the More info section which can be done by including the token {MORE_INFO_LINK} in the disclosure content.
Click on Draft, When the disclosure of a Product needs to be changed. Click on Copy from Published version to here to copy the existing content onto this draft. Once you make the necessary changes you can save the new disclosure and More info content. Once the content is saved you have two options.
- Publish - It will publish the updated disclosure and more info content.
- Publish & Force Re-accept - It will publish the updated version and also force the user to Re-accept the disclosure agreement.
How to Add Standalone Exam to a product
When a standalone exam product is added, a new tab Standalone Exam is activated. You can access it by clicking on the Standalone Exams tab. To create new or edit existing Standalone exams, please go to "myMedStudy > Admin > More > Standalone Exams." You can find the instructions on how to create or edit a Standalone exam here

Once an exam is added, you will see a dropdown menu for SKU and a Date picker. You must select either All SKUs or a particular SKU from the menu. The Accessible anytime field indicates the earliest date on which that exam is accessible to the user. If the product access date is earlier than the Standalone exam accessible date then the product access date takes over this date. You can add multiple Standalone exams to a product. If for some reason you would like to delete a Standalone exam then click on the remove button displayed beside each selected exam. Once you are done adding the Standalone exams then click on the Save and close button.
